When you first get engaged, it’s almost a race to to decide the things that will be the most important to you {aesthetics wise} on the big day so that you can budget accordingly! I always knew I wanted flowers to be a huge part of my wedding so I set out to find the inspiration that visually described the ideas I had in my head. Most florists will ask you to show them pictures of flowers that you love, so I immediately went to Pinterest. We all know Pinterest can be a black hole of inspiration, but after several glasses of wine and few too many episodes of friends later, I found a few images that described the look I wanted to a T. Our wedding reception will be at my parents home, so I want the overall theme of my wedding to feel very romantic, and natural, to play off the aspects my home {and backyard} provide. I don’t want anything looking “too perfect,” meaning I like flowers that look a little more undone – more thrown together. I also knew I wanted to work with “fluffy” flowers – peonies, garden roses, magnolias, hydrangeas – and I want them to be all white with pops of lavenders and blues. Without further ado….
Since most people will be arriving through the front door, I love the idea of my front door having a beautiful wreath on it
And beautiful blooms hanging from the second story balcony….
And dripping off the trees in the backyard…..
And off every mantle…..
My sweet coworker Julia had the most gorgeous bouquets I have *ever* seen, so I’m recreating them exactly! #thanksboo!
But I also love how ‘undone’ these two bouquets look! The colors in the one above are so pretty
So fluffy!
What are these called? Lapel flowers? I love how simple and organic this one feels for the guys
Last but not least – table arrangements – I want simple, fluffy, and all white + blueish grey centerpieces
how gorgeous are these table arrangements for a wedding shower? I’m not so much into the colors as I am the very simple table runner of green leaves + the idea of floral crowns {such a sucker for a good flower crown}
Wait speaking of flower crowns – replace these flowers with white + blues and you’ll have what my special little ladies will be wearing on the big day! Love how imperfect + sweet they are
Hope you guys enjoyed seeing my visual inspiration board of everything I’m planning for the big day! Can’t wait to see it all come to life!

Oh my! This is all so beautiful!!
I love all of these floral arrangements, Bridget! The fact that your reception will be at your parent’s … #swoon — the whole vibe is going to be so romantic and this floral inspo is perfect for it.
