Spring has sprung around the world you guys and I could not be more excited about it! After months of it getting dark early, and bitterly cold morning & nights, it is so refreshing to feel the warmth of the sun as I walk around in sandals and enjoy the incredible smells of all the flowers blooming. Geneva is no exception – I feel as if the city has come alive within the last two weeks and the flowers, along with the people, have come out of their winter hibernations. With a new city, and school classes to attend, I knew I wanted to have a special bag to trek my books & notebooks to school in – & this Barrington Bag tote could not be more perfect. I was first introduced to Barrington Gifts by my sister-in-law 2 years ago. She swears by her St. Anne tote – she uses it as a diaper bag – and this past Christmas she was sweet enough to gift me my own {with my new married initials no less :)} That was it though, I was hooked. I stored away my old tote, and haven’t looked back since. When preparing for my big move to Switzerland, I immediately thought of Barrington Gifts – & was so happy when they reached out to work together! This is truly truly an organic collaboration – & I was so excited to pick out a tote, cabin weekend bag & passport holder from their Spring 17 line.
My St. Anne tote is the ultimate catchall – I lug around water bottles, mail, keys, shoes, nail polish {I always bring my own to salons!}, notebooks, pens and any other random knick knack of the day. The size is perfect, and the pockets inside are great for getting organized. On one side, there is a large zip section, and on the other, there are 3 smaller little pockets great for keeping my index cards for studying, my house keys or sunglasses handy. If I’m out running errands, you can bet I am carrying this tote.
Last but not least, the cabin bag & passport holder were perfect for my travel to Geneva. I love that the cabin bag is big enough to fit all your weekend must-haves but not so big that you weigh it down and overpack. I’m one of those people that needs boundaries when it comes to packing, and this size is great for that. I knew I wanted to bring this to Geneva to I could pack it up for quick weekend trips to the mountains, but it was also great when I used it back in Texas for a ranch weekend.
I haven’t even touched on the fact that Barrington Gifts has tons of options when it comes to customizing your items – Knowing I wanted these to be everyday items, I chose classic and simple colorways across the board. BUT there are tons of fun patterns {think palm leaves!} and colors to choose from if thats your preference. Because of this, these make the best gifts, and if the tote or cabin bag are above your price range – consider the passport holder! It’s a super cute gift, and at only $50 it’s super affordable.
Hope y’all are having an amazing week! xx
