Ahhhhh. I can’t believe I am finally sharing these images with you. I feel like it has been the longest time coming. After struggling to get pregnant for so long, this nursery was the ultimate treat to myself. I wanted to make it my own little haven for baby and me and that is exactly what it has become! It’s so soft, and serene and I truly feel a sense of relaxation come over me when I walk in. It is such a happy space and I can’t wait to spend many more years creating memories here <3
I went with a soft blue palate knowing full well that we may have girls next and that is ok with me! I am not really a pink girl, so I would’ve chosen soft blues if Henning had been a girl anyway. When {and if! God willing!} we become pregnant with baby #2, we will move Henning into a ‘big boy room’ and this space will continue to be the nursery for him or her. π
Without further adieu, here is Henning’s nursery – the place where I have spent most of my time these last seven months and couldn’t be happier about it! I hope you like it <3
Room for two – unsure at first, I ended up loving having two rocking chairs
My little guard dog! Who knew a dog bed could be so beautiful? Custom via Amy Berry Home // Similar
Pillow: Custom // Similar
Chair + ottoman + pillow were custom made via Amy Berry
Side Table: via Amy Berry // Similar here // Storage basket // Piggy Bank
My husband’s cowboy boots from when he was a child. How beautiful are they? I treasure them! I can’t wait until Henning is old enough to wear them.
Storage basket // It has been very useful to have this basket within arms reach when nursing Henning {especially in those first few months!} It changes, but usually you can find water, snacks, Advil, nipple cream, hand sanitizer, chapstick, burp cloths and wash cloths inside.
Another priceless treasure – our Henning was named after a relative on my husband’s Swiss side whom passed away many years ago. This was his baby spoon.
Those sweet initials! I love that this spoon was clearly used and loved. It is such a special momento and eventually I plan to have it framed so we can keep it safe and admire it for forever.
Stacking baskets // These are currently acting as a stand for our Nanit camera, but will also soon double as a storage bin for all of Henning’s toys.
Nanit baby monitor with wall stand // We have loved this baby monitor {read more about why here} // Lucite baby crib {similar}
Bumper: custom made via Amy Berry Home {see similar on her site}
Crib pillow {similar} // I designed this monogram with Janel at Hip Hip Hooray. It is now one of my favorite gifts to give friends who are expecting little boys. I think it is so sweet.
Nesting baskets // Never met a scallop I didn’t love!
Henning’s closet
Storage baskets // Climbing man purchased in Switzerland {our plan is to hang this from the ceiling!} // Bib {this beautiful bib was a gift! Henning wore it on his baptism day}
Velvet Baby Hangers // Closet Dividers // My mom gave us these precious little closet dividers to separate his clothes. We loved them and they were so useful!
These storage baskets not only look pretty, but have been useful for organizing his blankets, swaddles, lovies and more
I had my chairs custom made to be taller than most because of how tall I am. I love them. They fit my body perfectly! I also love that this ottoman doubles as storage
Basketweave Carpet: Stark {no longer sold} // Ottoman: custom made
Curtain fabric: Schumacher
Wallpaper: Scalamandre
Light fixture source: unknown
Chest of drawers // Mirror was custom made {very similar here} // Lucite topper // Lamp
Love this little clothes hamper {source unknown}
Acrylic Changing Tray // Humidifier // Wipe Warmer
Changing Pad // Changing pad cover // Baby brush // Wipe warmer
I die for this mirror! It is exactly what I wanted
My little slice of heaven! The room still brings me so much joy every single day and I feel so grateful that I have a precious baby boy and wonderful husband to make memories in it for many years to come <3

Absolutely love the Schumacher Endimione fabric for curtains. Last Spring, we tried to use it for roman shades in our daughter’s room but it is out of stock due to a fire in their warehouse and there is no planned date for it to be back in stock. I’ve been devastated for a year over this beautiful fabric! We also have the Barlow fabric in her room and love it too.
