Black Friday and Cyber Monday is upon us y’all & that means more sales than you know what to do with. It can be a bit overwhelming {even for me} & with so much going on, I knew I wanted to offer some tips to make shopping the sales as easy as possible. These are my tried & true tips that I use every year, so I know they’ll work for you too.
- Make a plan! You need to get organized. Otherwise, you’ll waste time, forget people, and miss out on savings! The first thing I do is write out everyone I’m buying gifts for. I also link out {or write out} what I plan to get them & from where. Next, I make a list of the items I want to buy for myself/my family & babe/my pups. For example, I always buy my Christmas cards on Black Friday when they are heavily discounted, so I prepare my address book, and make a note, so I’m always ready to go. Getting prepared is crucial in saving you time, and keeping things sane. No one wants to stress over Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping! This should be fun. A little prep will make a world of difference 🙂
bbbbbbFor example:
bbbbbbbbbbbbPEOPLE
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Mom – Nest Birchwood Diffuser
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Dad – Leather wallet
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Arden – Love Necklace
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Caroline – Cooking/baking set
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Scott – Coravin
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Gloria – Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum
bbbbbbbbbbb HOME
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Order Christmas cards from Minted – always goes 15/20% off
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Restock on Truffle Cases
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Order more Holiday candles for neighbor gifts
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb Find pretty faux floral for powder bath – One Kings Lane & Neiman Marcus
bbbbbb - Make a separate list of all your favorite online retailers. Although most retailers will have some sort of promotion going on, not all will have major sales. I like to make a list of every retailer I love and check back on them all weekend to see if the sale offerings change. I also like to separate my retailers by category: HOME, FASHION, KIDS, BEAUTY etc so I can stay focused.
bbbbbbFor example:
bbbbbbbbbbbbHOME
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbMintwood Home
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbMark & Graham
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbWaiting on Martha
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbWest Elm
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbWilliam Sonoma
bbbbbbbbbbbBEAUTY
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbSephora
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbSpace NK
BbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbUlta
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbViolet Grey
bbbbbbbbbbbFASHION
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbNordstrom
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbShopbop
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbBloomingdale’s
bbbb - Last but not least, check back in all weekend with me here & on Instagram – I will be posting all the information on my favorite sales, my top picks, gift guide ideas and so much more.
Also, you probably recognize the sweater I’m wearing above if you’ve been following me on Instagram because I literally don’t take it off {I also own the black}. It’s perfectly oversized, so comfortable and can be worn with anything. I’ve paired it with a silk skirt, workout leggings and jeans, and if you’re short enough, you could also get away with wearing this as a dress on it’s own! It’s seriously one of the best sweaters I’ve bought in a long time, so don’t sleep on this one! You will regret it, I promise!
Happy shopping and let me know if you have any questions in the comments! x
