A good pair of denim has to be one of my top five wardrobe staples. Wearable in any season, there is nothing quite like the versatility of a good pair of jeans. With that said, I think denim is a great place to invest – it often improves with wear and has a longer lifespan than many other clothing items {aka, having a very low cost per wear}. Shopbop is my ultimate denim destination, carrying all of my favorite brands. Mother has been a long-standing favorite brand of mine {they have amazing styles for tall gals} but I also really love my Agolde jeans, especially this style. I just got these black jeans in for the upcoming season and am so excited to style them as the cooler temps move in. See below for my picks in a variety of cuts and washes:

The temperatures might still be in the triple digits here in Dallas but my mind is starting to think about all things fall. No better way to welcome in a new season than with a little closet refresh. Despite the warm temps, fall fashion is making its way in and the selection of dresses online right now is good.

I’m crushing on this gorgeous pleated number with a removable belt which would be *perfect* for a fall wedding. This short sleeve dress is an amazing throw-on option for a ‘Texas fall’ which looks and feels a little more like summer. This one looks sooo much like Missoni but for a tenth of the price.
