So in love with this popcorn sweater! I wore it the day I opened the package and then the following three days after that {#noshame} It’s THAT soft. And the little pom pom detailing is so sweet. Paired here with these appropriately named, but ever so cool ‘nerd’ jeans and my favorite sneaks {these sold out, but my eagle eyes sister actually found such a similar pair! So excited about that!}

I’m hosting a big girly dinner tonight & I’m so excited about it. I think I’m going to make my new favorite recipe for them to try….and definitely use some of our new wedding gifts {#hellofivecheeseboards}

So many good favs. Normally not a tiered ruffle kind of gal but loving #2 & #3 and #7 is a no brainer {lovvvve a peplum – even if its on a sleeve!}. I kept seeing bomber jackets everywhere and although I loved the way they looked on others, I wasn’t quite sold on one for myself. And then I saw this one from BB Dakota and fell in ?. I love the dark navy color, and the silk-y material wasn’t as shiny as I had seen some other styles. I also loved the simplicity of this one. It didn’t have a ton of arm pockets, or extra details. It was just simple! I paired it here with a favorite everyday tank, and my other newest obsession – these 3×1 cropped {high waisted} jeans! They are sooo comfortable and I wore them for like, 3 days in a row, and they never stretched out. The cropped leg is also super cute. I love the hi/lo detail – I kept joking to my friends that it looked like Biscuit had gotten a hold of them and chewed them to her liking 🙂

These slip-ons are a no brainer – under $60 and so comfortable. I loved that they were velvet {can’t get enough of velv these days} but were affordable. I hate spending an arm and a leg on a trend that might get old in a few months. Paired together with my bomber, I had a sort of ‘sport-y chic’ look going on, but these could easily be dressed up too.

We don’t have any plans at night this week which just feels like such a luxury! Plan on trying out some new recipes {made this one last week and it was SUCH a hit!} and relaxing by the fire 🙂 Hope y’all have a happy Monday!
