BEAUTY AND THE BANDIT(S)

the beauty in this post is defiently not referring to me — its this gorgeous hand embroidered shirt I was lucky enough to come home with from a recent trip to San Miguel. How incredible is it?? I just wish the pictures could capture the amazing and intricate detailing of the stitching. I am also absolutely in love with the blue lined interior — its pairs down the brightness of the neon pink + orange in a really nice way I think. The shirt was most definitely made for a child I think, or atleast a much smaller human, as you can tell it’s a bit too short on me — but I was so in love with the colors and embroidery, I had to buy it anyway. Call me crazy, but I’m already contemplating if I should just give up on it fitting me, frame it and hang it on my wall….  🙂

also, sidenote — these are my most favorite shorts ever. I have worn them on repeat all. summer. long. They were a bit of an investment (especially for being a pair of ripped up cutoffs) but i have worn them so many times, their price per wear has already made them worth it! defiently recommend for easy summer shorts!

How cute are these t-strap rockstud jelly sandals? My love affair with jelly sandals has been going on for years. It all started with a clear pair from Michael Kors (why, oh why can’t they remake the clears?! They were everything) and has since spawned into a white pair and two pairs of blacks. I’m hooked. They are the best thing to wear in the summer and so easy — I love being able to wear them when I am out at the ranch because I hate touching the slimy rocks + brush that lives along the edges of the lake!

This pair comes in a really pretty nude and a very practical black — and at under $25, you really can’t beat the deal. See my fav pics below!

I mean really, how dreamy is this dress? I can’t get over how pretty it is when it blows in the wind. It was so perfect for dinner in Corsica with my all time fav gold gladiator sandals, and most over worn panama hat. My favorite part (besides how flow-y it is) is the delicate black chiffon lining the deep-v in the front and back of the dress. This dress + the South of France = perfection. Ugh, bring me back!

I had been looking for a simple striped dress, and this one fit the bill. Its so easy to throw on, and tailor with different accessories. I threw this chambray shirt around my waist for no other reason except for that I liked the way that it looked. (Who say fashion has to make sense?) 🙂 Happy Monday!
