The Perfect Dress

Y’all. First and foremost, I just want to start this post off by saying my heart is so heavy watching the death & destruction that Hurricane Harvey has caused in South Texas. Having lived through Hurricane Katrina in 2005, I know full well how scary & unpredictable a hurricane {& it’s aftermath} can be, & it is so frustrating to watch and feel utterly powerless to help. If you are reading this, and you are from Houston, or have friends or family that are, my thoughts & prayers are with you. Please stay warm, stay dry, and most importantly, stay safe. On a different notes, this white dress, a purchase from earlier this summer, has been one of my favorite purchases of the summer. It is by HATCH, a brand designed for pregnant women {yes, I’m serious, & no, I’m not pregnant!} My favorite part about this line is that the items are all transitional – you can wear these pieces both while your pregnant and afterwards! Or, if you’re like me, before 🙂

I love the slouchy, yet elegant, structure of the dress. It was perfect with simple jewelry and these beautiful scalloped sandals.
